Weekend in the hospital...

It has been a tiring weekend for me...Saturday night my husband went home from a party with a high fever...I know it's scary to get sick now a days because of the A H1N1 rage and aside from that Sunday is our team building...I can't leave him alone in our house sick on a Father's Day. I was really hoping he get well soon but his fever got even worse. Monday, we went to Medical Center Paranaque, the closest hospital from our home. After the check-up the doctor advice him to stay in the hospital for observation. He underwent a lot of lab test and took a lot of medicine until his fever subsided. Wednesday night we finally went home and he was advice to rest for two more days. Here's a picture of him with the nebulizer thing on:

Another pic, trying to play PSP to beat boredom...wawa naman...pinipilit talaga:

Winner!

Yeah! Lakers won last night's championship game, ending the series with 4-1. A memorable win for Kobe Bryant as he step out of Shaquille O'Neil's shadow. This is also Coach Jackson's 10th record, he is wearing a yellow cap with an "X" design on it earlier, which according to him was given by his family. I find it kinda cute. I enjoyed watching the awarding, with Bryant's family with him, his wife and two daughters. I was really sick since last night and watching them won made me feel better.

Next stop, will be the PBA championship. I'm hoping Ginebra would make it...

Estou de volta!

Yes! Estou de volta...it's not the movie of Ai-ai de las Alas...it means "I am back!" After months of contemplation, whether to get a wired broadband or not, we have decided to get one because Tattoo's connection is unbearable. Aside from that, we don't want to be bothered of having to buy a prepaid load everytime we want to use an Internet connection ( Lumalaki na kasi ang utang namin kay Elaine...hehehe!). Our service is still with Globe, and so far we are satisfied with the connection. Globe should give us a discount for our subscription with their Internet and post paid phone service...hehehe!

I've been busy for a while...work, gala, reading my ebooks, managing my Facebook, tapings, premieres, TV guestings...oha! Seriously, i'm loving my work right now, unbelievable it may seem, but I really do love it. Working hours may suck, but it will not last long, schedule changes every month so you won't be stuck with an obnoxious schedule. I don't mind changing my body clock, by now I am used to it. I get to go home on time (except of course if there are scheduled gala), no paper works,i'm being paid well and the environment is less of an "office atmosphere." For me it is more like in college...continuous learning, people same as your age and lots of activities. A big part of why I love my job right now is the company that I am in...I like our company culture which is really pro-employee and the career growth is good...everything will be based from your stats.

Speaking of company activities, this month will be a busy one...special screening of Transformers, company outing, sportsfest and our team building. Whew! Better squeeze all those to my schedule..artista?
