Clothes and Shoes for my Baby

I went home from work this afternoon and I got a wonderful surprise from my Tita. She gave me clothes and shoes for my Baby. We don't know the gender of my Baby yet but my Tita gave me unisex clothes and shoes for a baby girl. It was really a simple gift but these are my Baby's first clothes. The feeling was unexplainable when I first look at them and imagining my Baby wearing this tiny piece of clothing. When I'll have the time, I will post the pics here.

By the way, my little cousin Ella has a name for my Baby...guess what it is?! Budong...of all the names. When you get to know her you'll understand why she has the capability of coming up to such a name. She likes watching telenovelas especially Marina...no wonder she knows these lines "Anong problema mo?" and "Wala tayong pakialaman, kanya-kanyang buhay tayo." She actually said that lines to my mom. When my husband heard of this he said that Ella should be 12 feet away from our Baby. Hehehe!

Robi and Rona, Nominated this Week at PBB Teen Edition Plus

My two faves in PBB Teen Edition Plus are nominated this week. Rona was included because Josef and Jolas tied scores, on the other hand Robi was nominated by the Teen Guardians. Rona strongly expresses her desires to see her family that made the other housemates think that she wanted to go out of Big Brother's house. Sad...please vote for them.

I am Number 899 on the Million Blog List

Got this from Jhongke;

It is a list of million bloggers here in the Philippines. Just go to this website Million Blog List and post the link of your blog there.

I'm Five Months Pregnant

I have not visited my blog lately since I was away from home for a couple of days. I stayed in my office since it is most convenient for me, no need to transpo, aircon, less noise and I don't have to endure the heat every noon. I am 20 weeks and two days pregnant today. Basically, its already five months. I can now feel fetal movement. The first time I felt it, I almost cried. It is an affirmation that I really have a new life growing inside me. It is an overwhelming experience, more than a positive pregnancy test or the sound of the fetal heartbeat. The movement is not that strong yet to be felt outside but significant enough for me to know that it was really our Baby moving. The feeling is better now compared to the first trimester of pregnancy. Although i'm getting a lot of backaches and leg cramps, it is still tolerable and avoidable.

Aside from the monthly visit to my OB, I also get a lot of help from the book What to Expect When You're Expecting by Heidi Murkoff, Arlene Eisenberg and Sandee Hathaway. It has a lot of information that you can never get from your doctor alone, questions you never thought should be asked but you'll get answers from the book and also what you should expect and what to do during pregnancy. I recommend this book to all of the mothers-to-be.

What Color Flower are You?

Got this from Jhongke:

You Are a Purple Flower

A purple flower tends to represent success, grace, and elegance.

At times, you are faithful like a violet.

And other times, you represent luxury, like a wisteria.

And more than you wish, you find yourself heartbroken like a lilac.

Kid’s Question #1

If you were the ruler of the world and you could have anything you wanted
as well as have people do anything you wanted,
do you think you would get greedy and mean
or would you be a good and fair ruler?

~
My gosh! So many things to do that is running in my mind right now. Hehehe! I'll have the wedding of the year, i'll buy shoes, clothes, gadgets and of course I will also buy things for my family and friends. I'll go to different places, perhaps visit Mickey Mouse, my fave. I'll enroll my child abroad and i'll go there every week. I'll give my parents a mansion and my two brothers all the things they need. I'll have my own school, studio dance and own network company. Maybe Channel 12...coz I love that number. Did you say I have to rule the world?! I'll leave all the work to my husband...he can do it! Hehehe!

PBB Teen Edition Plus

I'm watching this show and I am rooting for Rona Libby and Robi Domingo. I heard from my mom that they did a debate inside the house. I tried to find a video of that debate over the Internet to no avail. If you happen to know where to find it, please PM me or leave a comment on my blog. Thanks!

A Song for Us

My husband Chris told me to listen to this song. The title of the song is Swept Away by Christopher Cross. I like the melody and the meaning. It tells so much of how my husband and I feel for each other. Here are the lyrics of the song:

I never had anything happen so fast
I took one look and I shattered like glass
I guess I let it show 'cause your smile told me you knew
That you're everything I ever wanted at once
There's no holding this heart when it knows what it wants
And I never wanted anything more than to know you

I was swept away
No one in the world but you and I
Gotta find a way to make you feel the way that I do
I was swept away
Without a warning
Like night when the morning begins the day
I was swept away

And so it begins
This journey of love
The summer wind carries us to places all our own
The words of a look
The language of touch
The way that you want me means so much
And I never wanted anything more than to love you

Seeing my tomorrows in your eyes
I was swept away

I hope I wake up soon
I'm a victim of that crazy moon

The very first time you said my name
I knew it would never sound the same
Something about me is changed forever

Yes, Im Getting Married

It’s been awhile since my last post here. Reading all my past post makes me realize how time passed so fast. I can still remember making all those tear-jerking videos and posting this on my Friendster profile:

"I've got my friends, I'm more than O.K.
I've got more than a girl could wish for
I need someone who really sees me
Then I'll give... all the love in the world"

If you haven’t noticed that is from one of The Corrs’ famous song, All the Love in the World. Months after, what I hoped for came. It was never expected but it happened, never thought it would be this wonderful but it did. Maybe, when things are meant to happen, everything will just fall into place.

“Life takes us by surprise and orders us to move toward the unknown – even when we don’t want to and when we think we don’t need to.”

- by The River Piedra I Sat Down and Wept

Uncertainty was the only sure thing I have when he came. He may love me truly but he might also hurt me. He can make me whole but he can also break me. Fear is inevitable but to live with it is optional. I have to make a choice. Take the risk or play it safe. Take the chance that life is offering or wait. Seeing how happy and contented I am right now, I have no doubt, I made the correct choice.

Making the choice was easy because he made it easy for me. He is someone I wanted from the start, someone caring, honest, someone who love me dearly and someone who really sees me. I am still having a hard time putting into words how much I feel for him. Maybe that’s the reason why it took me this long to put everything into writing. All I can say is I am truly in love with this person and that is the reason why I am marrying him.

The proposal or the talk about marriage started that December night when we were together. He mentioned about wanting me to be his wife and wants to settle down this year. I have no second thoughts of making him as my husband and surprisingly I was even hoping for it from the start. A month after that, we found out that I am pregnant.

I tried to remember the feeling when I first found out. I did remember it, but I can’t explain it. I am happy, excited and at the same time scared. He also assured me that he is very much delighted by the news and he wanted it from the start. By the next month he informed my family.

This is another journey of my life, and this time I won’t be traveling it alone because aside from my family and close friends, I have my husband and our child.

This is my new home...

I've been fond of blogging since college...I have blogs on my Friendster and Multiply account. I keep both accounts updated and all the post are the same. I'm so glad Jhongke introduced me this website, its a dedicated site for blogs. I want to post all my previous blogs here and keep this site updated everyday as much as possible.

American Idol says goodbye to Ramielle Malubay

Our kababayan Ramielle Malubay did not make it in the American Idol, Top 8 Finalist. She's good but I think people got tired of waiting for her to pick a nice song that would actually show her real capabilities when it comes to singing. But she's good. I won't be watching American Idol, no contestant to root for.
